This is where most of the contaminants in the water are trapped. The water continues to the lower pressure side, after which it passes through a charcoal filter to help improve taste. From there, the water either goes directly to a faucet or into a holding tank to make sure purified water is immediately available. The impurities are removed from the RO filter through a drain line.<\/p>\n
